  • Beginner Wheel Class

    If you've never used the wheel before a basic bowl class will introduce you to centering, defining depth, width, and pulling up the walls. This is a guided class in which you go through each stage within a 45 minute time span to form a basic bowl. After the bowl air dries for days it will be fired in a kiln at 2000 degrees at which point we invite you to come paint it and then it gets one final glazing and firing before you take it home and eat and drink out of it. $60 all inclusive.

  • After The Basic Wheel Class

    Advance in pottery with "After The Basic Wheel Class." Tailored for those with initial experience, this class elevates your wheel throwing skills, focusing on crafting and scalloping larger bowls. Dive deeper into centering and shaping techniques over a guided 60-minute session. Post drying, we fire your piece, then invite you back for painting and a final glaze. This course, beyond beginner level, prepares you to enjoy meals from your unique creation. $60 all inclusive.

  • Larger Bowl with Holes

    Building on two prior wheel classes, you're now ready to tackle larger projects! In this advanced session, you'll craft a sizable bowl, refining techniques like centering and wall pulling, introduced earlier. After creating the basic form of the bowl you'll return the next day to make holes with specialized tools. This class culminates in firing and glazing, allowing you to cherish and utilize your personalized creation. Ideal for those eager to expand their pottery skill set. $60 all inclusive.

  • Class Packages

    6 or 10 class packages available.

  • Ceramic Flower on Tile

    During this 2 hour session, you will work with wet clay to roll out a flat tile approximately 6 to 12 inches in length. Next we roll out the clay and begin cutting several petals with required tools to form a flower. We attach the petals by scoring and using liquid clay to join them to clay tile. After forming the flowers, we'll add the stems, and leaves. Make sure your initials are in one corner. Now the piece is set for drying until bone dry [several days]. Once fired in a kiln at 2000 degrees, to produce a white unpainted ceramic plaque, we notify you to come paint, typically between 6 to 9 pm the following Saturday.

    Cost for ages 10+: $60 (for adults ages 21+ BYOB)

  • Baby Imprints

    Create a unique momento item, by capturing your new born or toddler’s hand or foot imprints. Imprint plaques make for beautiful gifts for relatives. So, consider making several while you're at it. Your newborn is only this little for a short time!

  • Handmade Fish-Shaped Platter

    In this 1 hour class you'll roll out the soft clay into a large, even tile. The next step is to shape and cut the clay into a fish using the correct tools. Then, you roll out lace onto the clay, peel it off, and refine the edges to form an intricate lace pattern on the platter. Once the fish fully dries, we fire it, and then you come back later to paint it like you would a ceramic. Then it is glazed and fired again and ready to be taken home.

  • Pregnancy Belly Bowl Making

    Want to commemorate your pregnancy in a fun and artistic way? Well, Belly Bowls are just the thing. We use the cast of you belly as a mold to create a ceramic belly bowl Once fully dried and fired the bisque bowl is ready for painting. You can chose to come back and paint it or have us paint it for a charge. The bigger the belly the bigger the bowl. This is a great way to celebrate your pregnancy!

  • Sculpture Class

    Basic Bust created on an armature. Students with first attach the clay to the armature to form the base of a head and shoulders that they will gradually sculpt and add clay to form the model bust. The class consists of Six 2 and a half hour sessions, with a 20 minute break half way. At the completion of the bust we'll learn to cut the top of the head, carve excess clay out, score and reattach the top of the head to form a fire ready sculpture. The cost includes the studio time, clay, use of armature, sculpting tools, instruction and optional firing. Since each sculpture is fired individually in a commercial sized kiln there is a $100 fee for firing.
